...and the history (his+story) repeats..

it was 8:30 AM in the morning, on Aug 1, 2006,... i was in deep sleep unaware of where i am…i heard some incoherent voices and had to force open my eyes. It was then the reality flashed reminding me that it was my first day ever in THE US and that sleep was over the jet lag...

i forced myself out of bed and shook hands with those two heavily built bodies [:)], one of which i knw from HYD, ramana, and the other a new face, vinay...and had started for the leasing office to sign on the apartment lease documents...as it was an alien country or to better put it this way that we being aliens in that country, i had been asked to carry my passport as identity proof all the times...this time i had taken the responsibility of two passports, mine and chakri's...

this time it was not a stunning beauty but a middle aged lady who helped us sign the lease documents...after successfully signing the documents we stepped out and headed towards our temporary accommodation which was a quarter mile away from the leasing office...the day was too dry and hot and sun was scorching...shining his full brightness straight above head...

with fully sun burnt bodies we entered the apartment and then realized that something was missing...yes...u guessed it right, the passport…but this time passports…blood pressure pumped up and we started searching all over...the best (worst) part is that neither of us remember when and where we last saw the passports..we had searched all over the apartment and had run out to look in at other house where we stopped by after signing the lease...and alas! they were nowhere...the tension was building up and the sun seemed to be too happy to roast us the roads...

finally as a last resort we tried at the leasing office...and the lady said that her boss found them on the tea table and given it over to her...and handed them back to us!!!

u might have expected by now...since then nothing was given to my custody and i had to seek permission to view my own passport [:P]!!!and you see how the history repeats itself...the first part of his+story is under the blog How are you doing today!!...i still dont get convinced that it was me who brought the passports to the leasing office!!! or may be it was me...i dunno!!!
